Proenza Schouler
Try something a little different from Proenza Schouler this season. The women’s apparel and accessories brand designed by Parsons graduates Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez has been bringing us highly creative pieces since Barney’s bought out its entire first collection in 2002. The fashion industry has revered Proenza Schouler ever since, thanks to its dedication to formidable tailoring and laid-back luxury. Despite its well cut and crafted pieces, the young label, whose title is an amalgamation of McCollough and Hernandez’s mother’s maiden names, is youthful in terms of design, with an experimental yet wearable nature infusing its clothing.
