Founded in 2001 by fashion buying pioneer, Eva Galambos, Parlour X has established itself as Australia’s leading multi-brand luxury fashion destination. The boutique and its online store are renowned for the expertly curated selection of the most coveted ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, bags and jewellery from the world’s most sought-after luxury collections. Parlour X is the home to all the major international luxury houses including Chloé, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Balenciaga, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Jacquemus, Lanvin, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Paco Rabanne, Comme Des Garçons, Proenza Schouler and Isabel Marant.
Founder and Director, Eva Galambos first opened the Parlour X boutique in its original location in Five Ways Paddington, surrounded by other Paddington clothing stores. Quickly outgrowing its space, Parlour X expanded to the historic St Johns Church on Paddington’s Oxford Street. Built in 1845, ‘The Church’ is a remarkable landmark that has transformed Parlour X into a inspirational and desirable shopping destination. The boutique offers a unique range of fashion and accessories and evokes the very best of Paddington’s vibrant culture, serving as a focal point for fashion and cultural experiences to inspire Sydneysiders and visitors alike.

Director & Buyer
Born in Sydney, Director Eva Galambos attended UNSW and the College of Fine Arts before embarking on a 12-year career as a commercial fashion agent in London and Sydney responsible for brand management, national sales and marketing, working with designers including Giorgio Armani and Nicole Farhi.
In 2001, Eva opened Parlour X, the internationally renowned luxury boutique, home to the world’s most coveted and influential designer collections from Celine, Chloe, Balenciaga, Balmain, YSL, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham, Comme des Garcons, Loewe and Isabel Marant. Over time, Eva rapidly earned a reputation as Australia’s most prominent buyer and one of the most influential Australian fashion ambassadors abroad.
Always with an eye on Australia, Eva uses her exposure to the major European fashion houses to support the local Australian Industry. Eva is proud to mentor many of our emerging designers through various philanthropic initiatives, industry talks and creative collaborations. Today, Eva continues to be a sought-after spokesperson for the state of the industry; all part of her commitment to share her experiences and help foster the next generation of fashion success stories.
