This Alaïa skirt is designed to sit lower on the body, resting around the hips rather than the natural waist. The brand’s signature pleated construction creates movement and structure through the body of the skirt.<br><br>The style runs slightly small, so we recommend most clients size up for a more comfortable fit at the hip. The waistband sits fitted across the hips, while the pleated structure allows the skirt to fall more fluidly through the lower half.<br><br>The fabric has slight stretch but remains mostly firm, helping the skirt maintain its sculptural pleated shape. The pleats expand and move with the body, allowing some flexibility through the hips while keeping the overall structure of the skirt.<br><br>The skirt falls to a midi length, finishing below the knee on most clients.
