How does one get to Marrakech?

There is a direct flight from Paris to Marrakech - quick and easy!

What are the best hotels or resorts?

Beldi Country Club – beautiful! The grounds and interiors are so grand. The best spa in Marrakech!

El Fenn – my favourite hotel to stay. The boutique is filled with lots of goodies.

La Mamounia – this is true luxury at its finest.

List your top dining locations in Marrakech.

Nomad – in the Medina, it’s absolutely buzzing for lunch or dinner. There is no alcohol. Definitely one of my go-to’s when I’m there.

Al Fassia – Moroccan restaurant in Gueliz, delicious!

Restaurant La Famille – home cooking style, very small, selected menu that changes daily. You eat in a quaint, colourful garden. Go for lunch!

Ayaso – for vegan food!

Berber Lodge – for lunch or dinner. It’s a day trip, an hour drive from town, you must book but it’s a good adventure if you want to get out of town.

What are the best vantage points for people-watching and taking it all in?

From anywhere in the Medina!

What are the best cultural or art experiences to enjoy?

Gallery 127 – Moroccan photography gallery.

Yves Saint Laurent Museum – always a queue but worth it.

What is exclusive to Marrakech?

The unique buzz of the Medina - every second of the day! It doesn’t stop! Wander aimlessly through the magical, maze-like alleys, lantern-lit restaurants and opulent, courtyard plunge pools.

Your favourite boutiques or shopping destinations?

There are so many little shopping destinations in Marrakech. You come across the most exciting, unique things.

Riad Yima by Hassan Hajjaj – pretty incredible decor, tea shop and gallery. The Café make the best couscous, only available on Fridays. Must contact ahead.

Mustapha Blaoui – unique homewares, rugs. Located in the Medina.

Maison Lab – NYC owned homewares shop in Gueliz.

What is the night scene like, any favourites?

El Fenn – for rooftop drinks at sunset. Beautiful views over the city, the colours of the sunset is amazing.

La Mamounia – for drinks at the bar, the vibe is electric!

Your top tips for travel?

Drink lots of water and herbal tea. Always pack your favourite sunscreen and keep your skin hydrated - I take my beauty products everywhere I go. Epice Scarves which can work for pretty much anything - seeking out shade, head scarf, top, the list goes on.
