Eva Galambos’ private Paris list created for close friends and family has been circulating amongst many Sydney-siders and beyond. Since this list being referred to more and more, Eva suggests the top things to do in Paris with children. Need more Parisian tips? Don’t miss Eva’s cult Parisian dining list, too.

Guide: 10 things to do in Paris with kids

Jardins du Luxembourg 6e Arrondissement, 75006 Paris, France
The Jardins du Luxembourg in the 6th has one of the best playgrounds I have ever seen. Featuring slides, jungle gyms and zip lines, your kids will spend hours entertained in these beautiful gardens.  Puppet shows and pony rides also feature within the gardens, and you must visit Paris’ oldest carousel!

Jardins D’Acclimatation Bois de Boulogne, 75016 Paris, France
This park includes an archery range, train-ride, puppet theater, zoo, house of mirrors, miniature golf course, science museum and pony rides! Run by the LVMH group, the Jardins D’Acclimatation is absolutely beautiful. And there is so much to do that you will want to come back again and again. Depending in how much time you have, plan to come here more than once!

9 THINGS FOR KIDS TO DO IN PARIS

Palais de Tokyo 13 Avenue du President Wilson, 75116 Paris, France
Palais de Tokyo has an entire program dedicated to kids entertainment called Little Palais. Story-tellings, concerts and art workshops all feature on the Little Palais calendar, and both kids and parents alike can join in.

Parc de la Villette 211 Avenue Jean Jaures, 75019 Paris, France
The Parc de la Vilette is the largest urban cultural park in Paris. The playground has a fantastic Chinese-dragon slide and jungle-gyms, and during the summer has an open-air cinema.

Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle 36 Rue Geoffroy-Saint Hilarie, 2 Rue Buffon et 57 Rue Cuviers, 75005 Paris, France
Head to the Children’s Gallery within the Museum of Natural History and enjoy the special treasure hunt exhibition. The Gallery of Evolution is also a big hit with kids, featuring the formerly-royal collection of stuffed animals from across the world.

Jardins de Tuileries 113 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France
The playground at Jardin des Tuileries is a big hit for kids five and above. With plenty of metal structures, rope tunnels, spinning and bouncing apparatus, your kids will be occupied for hours! If you are in Paris in the summer months, make sure to visit the annual summer carnival and take a ride of the Ferris wheel – it has a fantastic aerial view of Paris.

Les Invalides 129 Rue de Grenelle, 75007 Paris, France
Originally built by Louis XIV as a hospital, Les Invalides (officially known as L’Hotel National des Invalides) now houses the military history and artefacts of France. A great place to take children who are interested history, especially those who will love looking at all the medallions and learning about the French war stories and heroes.
