Eva’s AW19 travel must-haves

October 26, 2019

Parlour X Director and Buyer Eva Galambos considers Paris to be her second home, traveling to the city of lights up to six times a year for her buying trips.

Recently, Eva shared her Parisian packing list with our audience via IGTV; explaining the must-have pieces she will be taking with her on her upcoming Paris & Milan SS20 buying trip.

Watch the IGTV video here.

Preferring to only take carry-on luggage in her faithful silver Rimowa suitcase, discover how Eva travels and pack lightly; but not without her trusted essentials.

FOR THE PLANE

“The first outfit that I think of is my plane outfit – what I will be wearing on my way there and my way back. I also like to ensure that this includes a key piece that I will be wearing everyday. This time around it’s my Balenciaga Hourglass.”

BAGS

“I like to take more than one bag, because although I think I will be carrying the same bag everyday I need each outfit to look different. I will take one larger bag with me on the plane, and then pack smaller bags that fit into my carry-on and can take me from day to evening.”

SHOES

“It’s so important to think carefully about the shoes you’re taking. On the plane I’ll wear my trainers, and I’ll pack some heels as well, but I plan to spend my time wearing my favourite shoe of the season: Maison Margiela’s sparkly Tabi boots.”

OUTFITS

“This time around I will be away for six days, so I need six outfits. All of the looks I have selected are lightweight, and will pack easily into my Rimowa suitcase.”
