Could you start by telling us about your background and how you lead Aromatherapy Associates into Australia?
A few years after graduating university, I was fortunate enough to meet the co-founder of the brand Geraldine Howard by chance, and soon after I was appointed as the exclusive agent in the Asia-Pacific region. Since then, I've been committed to expanding Aromatherapy Associates into the Australian market.
As a brand agent, what gives you the most sense of accomplishment and challenge?
The most fulfilling aspect of my role is gaining the trust of our customers. It is invaluable to me to maintain a long-term and sincere relationship with our customer base. The most challenging part of my work is maintaining the competitiveness of the brand at all times in this fiercely competitive market
What inspired you to start a business?
My father is my role model and has had a great influence of me. I have learned a lot from in many aspects of my life including my career and how I communicate with others.
Have you ever had trouble balancing your work and personal life?
I try to live a balance life and not excessively consume energy. During the day I am committed to my work, and the evenings is my personal time to switch off, adjust and relax.
What is your favorite Parlour X brand?
I love several of the Australian designers carried by Parlour X. My favourites at the moment include Sparrows Weave and Christopher Esber.
Could you describe your personal style?
I've always believed that comfort is key when discovering your own personal style, and knowing what suits you. I like to inject some of my personality and emotion into what I wear, and coordinate this with my own living habits and personal needs.
