Our buying appointments during this runway season were busier than ever! In between running to and from shows all over Paris, Rebel and I had multiple buying appointments every day. Overall, it was a fantastic buying season and it was exciting to buy our first runway collections from new brands including Celine, Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney as well as our favourites such as Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, Comme Des Garcons, Valentino and Saint Laurent.
BALMAIN
The SS15 season will be Parlour X's first season carrying Balmain. After the hectic runway show, it was great to see the collection up-close and in the flesh. Bold and primary colours dominated jackets, tops, skirts, and dresses – I am excited for our selections to arrive early next year!

VICTORIA BECKHAM
Victoria Beckham delivered more of her fabulously structured dresses and separates this season. One of my favourite appointments this season!

BALENCIAGA
The Balenciaga buying appointment is another favourite of mine every season. This was the first collection that Alexander Wang put his definitive stamp on and you could see this in the neoprene and structural elements that he incorporated into the RTW and accessories.
Balenciaga’s signature Paper A4 Bags are now available in a textured grained leather.

COMME DES GARCONS

JUNYA WATANABE
The Junya showroom this season was very bright! I loved Junya’s use of a bold and primary colour palette. As usual, Junya is setting and starting trends….
Expect bold knits, PVC skirts and nylon mesh tops next season!

ISABEL MARANT
The Isabel Marant runway show was a huge hit this season and the selection in the showroom was fantastic. Even though you aren’t allowed to take photos, Rebel and I managed a few sneaky shots – here I am walking through the runway collection.
We loved these sandals - they will be available in bordeaux and black.
CHLOE
The Chloe showroom is always one of my favourite to visit every season. I loved the runway show and was excited to see Claire Waight Keller’s latest collection up-close. Classic Chloe silhouettes, mixed with silk and georgette fabrics and signature Chloe scalloping feature heavily throughout this Spring/Summer collection.
The Drew bag has become an international phenomenon and next season will be available in great colours including, navy, off-white and leopard.

EK THONGPRASERT
Ek Thongprasert experimented with new shapes and textures this season – our favourites included thinner neckpieces with candy-coloured jewels.

PROENZA SCHOULER
Labelled as the ‘ultimate’ in high-fashion American sportswear, Proenza Schouler proved their cool status this season with chunky knits, snake skin prints and knitted tunics.

MSGM
MSGM has fast become a new Parlour X favourite and we were excited to see this runway collection that featured lace slip-style dreses, palazzo pants and chic blouses.

I am so excited for Stella McCartney to arrive at Parlour X next season and buying the runway collection was an absolute pleasure!

This season, as well as fantastic Celine RTW selections, we have ordered the extremely popular Celine Trio Bags, Luggage, and Phantom Cabas Totes in a range of colours and different textures.

VALENTINO

Saint Laurent is all things 70's this season and we will be receiving the iconic Rider Bucket Bag, runway platform sandals and iconic leather jackets in-store next year!
