Top bars, speakeasies or locales for a great night out?

New York is such a vibrant city which is hidden with lots of gems, in-the-know parties and some of the best speakeasy bars!

Public Hotel Rooftop Bar, 215 Chrystie St, New York, NY 10002, USA. Be sure to pay a visit here, with its 360-degree views over the city. This stylish, buzzy hotspot is a place where beautiful people eat, drink and dance the night away.

Temple Court Bart Room, 117 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022, USA. This venue is set beneath the Beekman’s stunning, nine-story Victorian era atrium and offers a singular New York setting to enjoy a list of handcrafted cocktails alongside an all-day menu.

Westlight, 111 N 12th St 22nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA. If you’re in Williamsburg be sure to visit Westlight! Located on the 22nd-floor this rooftop bar offers some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.

The Basement, 45 Mott St, New York, NY 10013, USA. Located in the basement of Cha Chang Tang and beyond a Coca-Cola machine door is where you’ll find one of my favourite speakeasys with a game room! The Basement is a great spot to hang out with a group of friends!

Patent Pending, 49 W 27th St, New York, NY 10001, USA. This is another great speakeasy spot. Hidden behind a coffee-shop, Patent Pending is a café by day and speakeasy by night. The space occupies the basement of the Radio Wave Building in Manhattan.

The Whitney Museum of American Art, 99 Gansevoort St, New York, NY 10014, USA. If you’re visiting the High Line in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, be sure to explore the Whitney’s collection of over 23,000 works created by more than 3500 American Artists.

The Noguchi Museum, 9-01 33rd Rd, Queens, NY 11106, USA. The Noguchi museum also has a beautiful outdoor garden museum which I’d suggest visiting.

The Vessel, Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001, USA. Completed this year and is an architectural masterpiece! If you have time after visiting the High Line be sure to stop by to take a look. If you’re up for a musical, pop by Times Square or book a Broadway show like Wicked along 51st.

Do you have any hidden gems?

Most people are very familiar with the Rockefeller Centre as it’s one of the city’s most iconic skyscrapers –but hidden at the top of this landmark is a well less known spot –it’s a secret rooftop garden with a beautiful oasis hidden away from the crowded city below.

What is your dress-code when in New York?

The seasons are very real in NYC –when it’s winter it’s very cold and it also gets ridiculously humid in Summer. As a result I recommend checking what the weather is in NYC when you’ll visit. NYC is a city home to everything from smart chic to mixed/matched and re-worn.
