Mercedes Benz fashion week kicked-off in Sydney yesterday with the highly anticipated Toni Maticevski show. Celebrations continued long into the night at the official after party hosted by Parlour X. Always with an eye on Australia, Eva Galambos is passionate about supporting Australian fashion. "I am really proud to be apart of this amazing industry and especially thrilled to celebrate the epitome of Australian luxury fashion design innovation, my good friend Toni". A special thanks to Justin North, executive chef at Hotel Centennial who is known for his local approach to fresh and sustainable produce. Toni Maticesvki and team, Lenovo, La Mer, The Daily Edited, Doctor Cooper Studio and VOSS. The boutique played host to the wild celebrity dolls known as the Angie Dolls. Created by celebrated author Miranda Darling, the Angie Dolls are famed for their satirical naughtiness, ironically poking fun at the superficial side of life. The Angie Dolls took centre stage within the Church window vitrines of Parlour X. Complimented by the styling work of the hugely talented, Viva Vayspap, each doll showcased a wide range of SS16 collections while staying true to their trashy, celebrity obsessed, drunk and disorderly selves. A picture of total runway awe and envy, the Angie Dolls sitting Front Row were badly behaved, while the ‘Top Model’ graced the runway styled in Toni Maticevski’s extraordinary Resort ’17 collection.
