Launched in 2007, Jonathan Anderson's designs are both innovative and original, his collections feature unisex silhouettes and quirky details. A fashion-crowd favourite, the PRE-SS17 season saw the British fashion brand unique design aesthetic which offered a modern interpretation of masculinity and feminity by creating thought-provoking silhouettes through a conscious cross-pollination between menswear and women swear elements. The PRE-SS16 collection has already caught the attention of celebrities globally including Julianne Moore, Kiera Knightley, Kate Bosworth, Naomi Watts, Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Kruger, Audrey Tautou and Jessica Biel, to name a few. J.W Anderson always brings a contemporary feel to his designs through a use of innovative shapes. New for Pre-SS17, the high neck front drape dress crafted from cotton and cut with a draped asymmetric hem that’s accentuated with striped blue and white detailing. Layer it with an embellished sweater and flat ankle boots for a modern silhouette. Similarly, drawing inspiration of new romanticism and the idea of deconstructive shirting this season – blended cotton, the long-sleeve crew neck A-line dress has a fluid, figure-skimming silhouette and floaty, asymmetric hem. The chest features a button flap and dramatic blue and white stripes. Feminine designs are always crafted to dramatic effect; the short handkerchief skirt has an asymmetric hem that loosely drapes over one side towards the highs and calf, and is shaped to sit high on the hip. Maximize the statement appeal with supersized pleated top; alternatively pair with the everyday classic of the ruched short sleeve V-neck blouse. It’s shaped with fluted cuffs and a complementing hemline that are picked out with a decorative necktie. J.W. Anderson’s black one-shoulder beach bodice top will underpin looks with a super-slick sensibility. The seamless crepe is cute to a body-contouring silhouette that works well when tucked into trousers – try a dropped crotch pair for an ultra-modern result. Amplify your PRE-SS17 wardrobe with the black or white short-sleeved collared shirtdress with distinct draping and handkerchief skirt. It’s crafted from soft and fluid crepe that hones every curve, from the sultry collared neckline to the dramatic asymmetric hem with contrasting stitching.  Team it with vampy ruby-red heels for date night. Season after season, fashions elite find new and compelling ways to present signature looks, this season, J.W Anderson introduces the long-sleeved high neck pleated gauze jacket. This jacket is distinctively molded and folded into a high neck collar silhouette and decorated in calico coloring, which enhances the multidimensional feel. Team it with the coordinating long spiral skirt with ruffles for the most striking tale.   Welcome minimalist style into your repertoire with the long-sleeved high neck cropped boxy neck. It has a heavyweight texture, and back tie detailing. Layer it over languid tailoring and stiff jeans alike. For an unstudied look that evokes luxury, the elegant sleeve-less, high-neck silhouette knit with detailed necktie is this season’s cult item. Layer it over unfussy skirts and trousers. The boyfriend t-shirt will form the base of myriad weekend looks. The short-sleeved crew neck t-shirt, available in white, navy and black is cut for a slim silhouette and detailed with knot on the left sleeve. Wear it with tailored trousers during the working week, and skinny jeans on off-duty days.
