Isabel Marant AW15 sees boho edging on the eighties with cable knits, cinching high waists, frilled skirts and sleeves, and oversized jackets. Runway AW15 stays true to the youthful and nonchalant attributes that have made French designer Isabel Marant a favourite of style stars Olivia Palermo and Chiara Ferragni. The skirts this season emphasise epaulette detailing and chic high-waisted style.  The Isabel Marant Lena skirt, featuring peplum ruffle and epaulette detail with 70s brandebour, is the perfect black staple for any everyday or smart casual look. The Isabel Marant Nossy skirt demonstrates the designer’s love of nature themed influences through its unique green floral print. The straight mini skirt with a high-waist and epaulette detailing, can be paired with the sophisticated Raya boot, featuring a round toe, buckle and button detail in burgundy or black, for a composed and youthful everyday outfit. Alternatively, there is the black Isabel Marant Noor skirt, also featuring a high-waist and epaulette detailing with a brandebourg jeans style. The statement skirt can be paired with the Isabel Marant ¾ sleeved Paden top with a tie front and printed patchwork silk ethnic print in midnight or black, for a standout and effortless Isabel Marant look. Ethnic printing is always featured in an Isabel Marant collection, demonstrating her love for exotic and oriental themes. The Isabel Marant Pilay long-sleeved blouse features a V-neck open front with printed patchwork and the statement silk ethnic print in midnight or black. Its counterpart, the Isabel Marant Piero skirt, is a distinctive twist away from the skirt series in this collection. Also featuring the printed patchwork silk ethnic print in the delegated story colours of midnight and black, the Piero skirt is midi length and is embellished with ruffle detailing and a zipper front. As seen in L’Officiel magazine, RUSSH Magazine and Vogue Australia, the Piero skirt is a must-have piece this season for every high-street wardrobe. Lastly, an Isabel Marant collection is incomplete without a series of knits. This season, the knits have morphed into the jumper style and have explored more colour varieties to become the ideal basic piece that caters to all outfits and occasions. The Isabel Marant Charley knit, as seen on Elle Ferguson, is a long-sleeved jumper with ribbon front detailing. The sporty, chic knit embodies the themes of the season and caters to the needs of the twenty first century woman in its functionality and effortless sophisticated style. Coming in light grey, ecru and midnight, there is a Charlie knit to suit any outfit, personal style or occasion. For an edgier sporty look there is the Isabel Marant Hatfield knit in black or chalk,  which is a long sleeved cropped jumper featuring nautical stripe and button detail at the neckline. All in all another fantastic season at the Parisien design house of Isabel Marant. We look forward to what this inspirational designer will achieve in the seasons to come.
