This season, Parlour X has added Danish brand Cecilie Copenhagen to its portfolio. The new line, designed and made by Cecilie Jorgensen in the Danish capital, is recognised for its distinguishable pattern and lack of size range. It consists of a set number of style pieces in a variety of colour ways, making Cecilie Copenhagen a unique and highly coveted wardrobe name this summer.
Since being exclusively available at Parlour X, Cecilie Copenhagen has been topping wish lists all over the country. The foundation of this unique line began with Danish designer Cecilie Jorgensen’s clothing crisis. From having nothing to wear before a night out in winter 2012, the Danish Fashion Design Academy student spontaneously combined a bunch of scarves into a tunic. From there, the innovation began to spread and Cecilie Copenhagen was born.
Inspired by the Arabic keffiyeh scarf designs, the line is renowned for its recognisable yet simplistic patterns in a number of various clothing styles, catering to sophisticated, unique and expressive everyday wear that perfectly fits the Australian lifestyle. “Parlour X is exactly the kind of store where we prefer to carry our brand. Parlour X is very sophisticated, carrying the brands we associate with and the clientele is our target group. The total image and perception of the store is just splendid. Also, it was a great opportunity for us, to give the Australian people a possibility to physically see and feel our clothes in Eva’s beautiful store,” said Cecilie Jorgensen in Vogue.
The combination of strong patterning, simple designing and unparalleled quality has made Cecilie Copenhagen pieces, such as the V-neck top and O-Neck Top, staples in every fashionable Australian woman’s wardrobe.
