Demna Gvasalia, one of the hottest names in the fashion industry right now, presented his first collection for Balenciaga was held in Paris’s 15th Arrondissement. Mixing shapes from Cristobal Balenciaga’s archive with that of contemporary fashion pieces like puffer jackets and jeans.   Streetwise aesthetics and memorable moments, along with beautiful coats and skirts cut to move forward with a woman’s gait stole the show. Additionally, so did the huge display of weighty metal jewelry, which where of giant-sized portions.   In keeping with the prevailing 1980s mood, Balenciaga’s oversized safety pin earrings shone out as a key accessory statement for the season. Understated, functional and iconic, safety pins are gaining momentum within the jewelry world and with the showcase of this trend, have even more so elevated them to one of the jewelry trends for Autumn/Winter.   The big statement earrings from Balenciaga bring a fresh and elegant edge to the Maison’s looks and come in two different silhouettes. The safety pin hoop earring and the safety pin drop earring both of which can be found in the colour ways gold and silver on sale at Parlour x. Both these single earrings can be felt softly hanging upside down, giving it an effortless feel, despite the large size of the piece. Alternate, kept it minimal but bold by placing a safety pin earring the ear, in a delicate version.  This trend has quickly become a must-have for stars such as, Beyonce, Cara Delevingne, Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Fanning, Dree Hemingway and Diane Kruger.   The edifying plainness of the hair and non-makeup underscored the rigor of the shows accessory, including the simple tie pin straight single earring and the double tie pin right angle sing earring both featured in or jaune and palladium, these earrings were the subtle yet attention grabbing statements, which featured on the runway, this trend, which has quickly taken to the streets, with every fashionable it girl wearing them, including; Elizabeth Olsen, Elle Fanning, Emma Roberts, Gwen Stefani and Emmy Rossum.   In addition to the tiepin trend, the tiepin with chain also a single earring is the new approach to a fresh interpretation of such a popular, yet meaningful, object. The trend that has widely spread across most of the fashion world, including street style, blogs and fashion magazines, including Vogue and Elle, is one not to be missed.   Concluding the ultimate in AW16 sales jewels from Balenciaga is the tool pedant earrings, either is small or large gold hoop shaping with silver screw pendant, these earrings have gained a cult following.
